This morning I fly out to engage two progressive universities … in what it means to learn creatively … with more of the brain in mind.
Without doubt ... many scholars and leaders at the conference will be far smarter than me ... and I look forward to insights each person I meet will teach me. ![]()
As I prepare to facilitate so many expert learners … I am again aware myself that learning at its best is rather contagious. It strengthens those who facilitate and rejuvenates those who participate.
It’s really a process of teaching, listening, questioning, modeling active engagement, and empowering others to share their wit and wisdom.
Learning’s not an activity for any one person alone. It’s really a team endeavor. The facilitator is a bit of a fine orchestra conductor in one sense ... and the players provide the key component of cadence in a shared ... creative process.
Are you aware that the human brain comes equipped with its own plasticity … to be changed and grown by the active process of learning together daily.
What new discovery will you learn … and engage others in today?

Ellen,
Here, here! I celebrate your post! I just returned from a conference in Atlanta, and my neurons were sizzling! Learning is definitely a group activity. We are smarter together-no doubt!
