Have you noticed that people who have confidence that they will do a good job … also tend to work in an organization or department that uses their unique mix of intelligences? It’s as if their talents and problem solving ability make work an easier place to be.
What’s the difference between people who go to work feeling new zip daily because of the challenges they’ll face and the success they expect ... and workers who hate their jobs? ![]()
The difference is not usually the workplace itself. The difference is how people view and present their offerings.
What was your offering at work today? Did it capitalize on any of your multiple intelligences? Add any brainpower to your organizational intelligence today? Does your workplace fit your intelligences?

Interesting story here...
I love my current day job! Sure makes it easy to get up in the mornings, I'll tell ya!
One of the things I'm working on right now is a Work Process chart that no one's ever seen before. I do have a similar one to guide me, but I'm adding many more levels of complexity to it. Consequently, I'm sortof "winging it".
The other morning, though, I began to fret about a particular document I had produced but hadn't yet shown to anyone. All of a sudden, I began to wonder if it was really what the others had in mind!
Would they think it was... on track, or the wrong approach? brilliant, or without a clue? Get the picture?
Anyway, it really started getting me down. I found myself having a hard time even thinking about the project. Frustration was building.
Later that morning, I got a phone call from our lead in London, so I sent it to him and we discussed it. It went far better than I'd hoped! By the end of that phone call, I had regained my confidence and was inspired with even more improvements as well!
Working in a vacuum can be a real challenge, especially with so little to guide me. But rather than fret about "am I doing it right?", once I got feedback, I was good to go again!
