Galba Bright recently passed away in his office ... without warning. We stand with Sandra, through tears, and shock and deep saddness ... we mourn the world’s loss of so great a human.
Galba Bright was a much beloved friend, a colleague, a brother and a deeply inspired thinker. His words nudged others to do well and his used his brain to help people find well-being.![]()
Galba's messages came from depth and care for a broken world! He challenged us all with his images of humans who made emotional intelligence an added value to their lives. He wrote of many related topics here on my blog.
Always curious ... he led us all on topics such as leadership ... where he described how to manage positive change. He also wrote at the brainbasedbusiness site about creating personal space in spite of busy leadership demands. He asked me questions that took days to ponder, added insights about herd mentality and always taught us gems from his beloved work on emotional intelligence.
I learned from Galba and gained great delight in sharing my own MITA brain based ideas with him. We spoke of the value and delight of doing a project together - and it was so meaningful to me that this would happen in ways that benefited others. That was Galba’s amazing clarion call.
To learn of such a precious friend passing is to be reminded that life is short and unpredictable. May we all see the best in others as Galba did, reach to intellectual challenges he taught, and learn to love our work and lives the way this remarkable man loved and lived his.
He touched my own life deeply, and his memory will remind me daily to touch other lives in his precious name!
Be blessed in this difficult time ... Sandra ... and family ... and may you feel the strength of our faith added to yours. May you sense our prayers — to help you though the sorrow of such loss.
Galba ... please remain with us all ... in kindness, generosity and wisdom ... that only you had mastered daily as you did!

I am so sorry to hear about Galba's passing! He was a multiple participant in Middle Zone Musing's What I Learned From... writing projects, and often revealed a very interesting mind.
My condolences and prayers to his family and friends.
