Older Workers Sidelined Unfairly

As new and younger managers parachute into cubicle jungles … some older workers complain of being sidelined unfairly. Have you seen it happen?

Interestingly, this trend is at sharp odds with new information about the aging brain … which is seen as sharp as the youthful brain. It’s also the antithesis of older workers who spot those often hidden values of mature minds. aging%20worker.jpg

Luckily some older workers burn strong rather than burn out … and they are assets to younger workers … who look to their problem solving capabilities … rather than their age.

As boomers age, more are taking advantage of the brain’s ability to change at any age. For instance … we now know how to teach new tricks to old neurons in ways that increase your workplace IQ.

The way to stay current and capable at work could be as straightforward as giving yourself a neuron adjustment.

Do things differently! Simply solve your next workplace problem – with the brain in mind. That’s how human brains create invigorated neuron pathways … simply change one routine and your brain will do the rest to rejuvenate old neurons for a smarter you.

Old Socks will likely always stick with old. Successful older workers … on the other hand …  expect transformation by using the same keys to curiosity that Einstein and others stirred up  to apply new research to help solve old problems with young insights.

Did I just see your name on the list to lead the next cutting edge project for your organization?
