Do you question why some firms seem to win repeatedly... while other equally hard working groups tend to flounder?
Athletes who remain unbeaten showcase brain based practices that teach and inspire the rest of us to win.
According to Coach Mike Waldo ... for instance ... the Tigers:
1. Motivate growth. The Edwardsville Tiger boys' basketball team deliberately goes into games thinking about thinking about growth areas they still
have if they are to hold onto their unblemished season.
"We go into every game thinking like we've lost 20 games," said
2. Play to strengths. The team plays to its strength … rather than dwell on weaker areas. "Defense has been our key all year," Coach Mike Waldo said. "That's what sparks our offense. That's what we do."
3. Move as a team. "As the year goes on, if you practice well your players get more and more used to playing with each other," Waldo said. "Defense is a lot of reaction to what your teammates are doing and helping each other out. The more that you do that during the course of a season, you're going to get better at that. And I do think we've improved as the season has gone along." All 20 Tigers focus their talents and efforts to help their team to win.
The Edwardsville Tiger’s hold an unblemished season so far, and their brain based tactics could lead your organization to the winners circle too.
How does your organization focus on growth areas, play to strengths, and move forward as a unified team?
