Mona-Vie - A Brain's Berry Drink?

Today Robyn and I had a wonderful lunch in Fairport’s Bocaccinni Italian Bistro with Don and Carol Henderson. I’d asked to hear more about MONA-VIE … a drink Don and Carol sell, and Oprah lists as the world’s No 1 super-food.

Specific benefits are described at the official MonaVie distributor information page.

Over lunch … we shared MITA stories about the human brain’s capabilities and listened to Don and Carol’s amazing tales about MonaVie’s freeze-dried acai berries. By the way … I’m told that’s pronounced ah-sigh-eee … and it’s a name worth remembering. Life is good with this antioxidant-rich acai berry drink! Tossed in 19 fruits ...  I’m told you’ll have just what your brain craves to fight illness and spark alertness. Have you tried it?

What fruits make up Mona-Vie?

What amazing brain food!

Check out what people are saying about this juice’s ingredients at the Mona-Vie Blog site. It’s an interesting read ... and shows the product’s value from many angles and diverse voices of both buyers and sellers.

One more fact I’d like to know about Mona-Vie:

The greatest value in this 19 berry liquid mix appears to be the acai berry – yet I am still unclear exactly how much of this berry makes up each drink. Specific proportions did not appear in research I located so far. Does anybody out there know?

Funny thing … I heard reporters and journalists and experts at Oprah’s show, The Washington Post, Vogue magazine, The Men’s Journal, University of Florida, NBC Today, Steve O’Brian, and the London Times … rave about this juice. That’s not why I plan to try it myself, however.

Why do I plan to buy a case of Mona-Vie?

Robyn and I plan to buy a case each this week and look forward to testing this magical drink daily.  Not so much because well known journalists rave about it though – but more because Don and Carol Henderson are two of the finest people you could meet … and they drink it faithfully. This couple stays healthy, gives generously to the community, and cares deeply about integrity and about others.

That’s why we asked them about this product in the first place.  Not surprisingly … they did not approach us. In fact we shared valuable insights today for retaining health … fostering mental acumen … and doing more of what we love to do … long past those golden years. To the Mona-Vie Business crowd they are known as Distributor 377-082.  To us … they’re friends and colleagues we trust at the deeper levels.

I’ll post another blog about my own discoveries … soon after my Mona-Vie case runs out. In the meantime … I welcome any comments you’d like to share … along the way.

Ellen, I look forward to seeing what difference it makes to take Mona-Vie. The drink tasted surprisingly fruity and not like medicine so that's a real plus!

I know three people who are drinking Mona Vie regularly. Two swear that they're thinking more clearly and one feels that she's received relief from a long-time fibromyalgia ailment.

Robyn, thanks for stopping by. Interestingly, I listened to a doctor describe the drink this evening -- and he suggested that the acai berry is the highest concentrate of all other berries. He suggested it was at least 5 times higher than other berries. How interesting! No wonder so many people are finding such positive results!

Thanks for sharing this David:-) I was keenly interested in all the reports I am reading about the anti-inflamatory benefits of Mona-Vie. Luckily I found this through a couple who simply take this and found amazing benefits. They are a living testimony - as I saw it anyway:-) Great discussion on the possibilities and another angle:-) So glad you came by.

My family - ages 76 to 18 have been taking Mona-Vie faithfully for over a year... I'll be happy to share the outcomes we've experienced (and have had verified by our physicians). send me a note to MonaVieMaven at g Mail
Best...

That would be wonderful - and thanks for sharing with us about your experiences with mona-Vie. It's fun to form a circle to discuss such opportunities at a more sincere level - where people find support for new ideas. People like you -- and those in this discussion -- remind me why I honor and respect this brain based business blogging community so much! Great ideas all around! Have a good day!

I ran my own objective MonaVie trial recently. Maybe some of the research I've done might help you somehow, if not simply be informative.

Richard, thanks for the thoughtful way you weighed in with ideas on the other side. Your post at http://www.richardsramblings.com/2007/11/08/the-facts-about-monavie/ - is well worth a good read and certainly expresses the kind of thoughtful supports you bring to any conclusions that you offer. Great insight! There certainly is no "one-size-fits-all" to any of these discussion. Yet that's why they are so cool!

As I read your work , Richard... I was reminded of the value of looking at issues from many different angles, respecting views on the other sides as you do so well ... and making each day a new adventure of discovery. Your excellent facts make me look forward to my own experience here. Thanks also for the amazing tone to bring to both sides of any topic, Richard!

You inspire the rest of us!

The thing about Mona Vie right now, is that you are not only competing with others who are selling it in the same program as you, not to mention the natural market limitations of a product like Mona Vie.

I just wanted to share another Superjuice on the market. Vital Fruits has a staggering 4000 ORAC value per 1 ounce serving, four times that of Monavie. It also containes 100mg of Resveratrol, the heart healthy ingredient in red wine. That amount is equal to 250 glasses of red wine. It's made up of 20 different superfruits. It cost less than Monavie as well! Just wanted to share the info :) Please let me know if you have any questions.

I have talked to several people about Monavie. Overall, most people like the drink and would continue to drink it if it was not so expensive. With the way the economy is I just don't see how the company charges so much.

Love it.. agree it is too expensive. Sad, because if it were lower in price , I belive they would double their sales

When you start out with Mona vie, you're in effect starting up your own business. You need to learn how to operate your new business. You must be able to prepare and follow through with daily and weekly action plans. If you don't know how to budget your time and make use of it wisely, you're not likely to succeed with Monavie or any other MLM business opportunity.
