When it comes to electronics … I still have a long way to go. And it seems that whenever I take time to read the manuals or figure out the buttons … my knowledge is very short lived … before it all changes again. That’s also why I value events such as the Consumer Electronics Show or CES.
If you’re skilled with electronics you’re likely already aware of the Consumer Electronics Show … which is the electronic industry's largest expo. It’s starting today and running through January 10. Will you be there?
The CES develops business intelligence for firms in several ways:
1). When companies use CES to market technology … they also ratchet up their reps' business IQ . Simply put ... people use far more brainpower when they teach and engage others in what they do.
2. When workers build curiosity for the kind of new gadgets that Gates will show at the event … and other cool new products … cost effective decisions often result. It's how successful cutting edge firms decide what's best and what to pass over.
3. Collaborative decisions about new technologies such as the new Celestron LCD digital microscope your industry will use … often lead to entrepreneurial innovations for the industry – as well as team building that results in higher profitability.
Shows such as CES improve business when the new technologies demonstrated promotes what you already do well ... and adds value to your vision. No wonder many leaders build such a strong brand through CES. Do you agree?
Perhaps more importantly ... how could an event such as CES bring the latest technology innovations to your industry? It’s likely not through lectures or talks that you’d gain business intelligence. That’s why I was not surprised to read that this year’s keynote was a wipeout.
Check out their cool video, though, and see how spatial intelligence jumps into action. What other intelligences do you see come to life at an event such as the Consumer Electronics Show?
