New Year’s is more than a time for personal resolutions. Beyond plans to lose weight, sleep more, or exercise daily … why not consider change at work.
Here are MITA’s top 10 workplace resolutions for 2008:
1. Start everyday with clearer targets and revisit these at the day’s end.![]()
2. Prioritize vital needs and then do these first.
3. Glance ahead often and stay focused on the larger picture.
4. Make personal growth part of the daily routines.
5. Learn something new from people at work and then try it out.
6. Schedule in parts of each day for sheer fun and adventure.
7. Give a few things away to people who least expect gifts.
8. Laugh at the little things, and refuse to worry about the rest.
9. Take financial risks and invest often in a larger vision.
10. See the good in others … and then encourage more of the same.
Do you see changing habits as a way to raise your workplace intelligence? Either way - Happy New Year!
