With the fade of mega firms and the rise of entrepreneurs, many leaders look to networks as a way to cultivate and sustain business. Where do you network?
I’ve been thinking or starting a MITA Network Association called Entrepreneurs With the Brain in Mind. Emphasis on BRAIN – this group would do 5 things: ![]()
B- build transformational leaders
R -rejuvenate creative centers
A -align revenue streams to ideas
I - interact with diverse thinkers
N -nurture brain based growth
Speaking of nurturing brain based growth … imagine the zip added to a Rotary group … that supported an arm for entrepreneurs and tackled any of these five initiatives.
Or consider the strength added to your faith related groups … that brought together and encouraged its budding and mature inventors and entrepreneurs.
Check out networks out there that entrepreneurs find useful.
The Entrepreneur Network for Information, Contacts and Counsel
Princeton Entrepreneurs Network for founding and funding start-ups
Mind Petals Where People Cultivate and Share Seeds for Creativity
Wisconsin Entrepreneurs Network links entrepreneurs to businesses
Young and Successful for Young and Successful Inventors
Partner Up – Social Network for Entrepreneurs
Go Big Network – A Community of Startup Companies
Entrepreneurship never runs out of batteries. What network do you belong to that helps you build and sustain your best inventions into winning enterprises?

I agree with the fading of mega firms and the rise of entrepreneurship. One more network is the MIT Enterprise Forum:

They have 24 chapters worldwide, and from time to time I participate at my local one (Washington DC area). It's open to the public and they host some very good presentations.
