One reason many entrepreneurs fail to realize their best ideas … is that they lack clear daily targets that add wings to plans. The opposite is also true ....
Successful entrepreneurs can tell you precisely what their next winning target looks like, for instance. Targets guide the focus of an entrepreneur’s busy day … much like well lit runway lights guide the safe landing of a fast moving plane. There’s one caveat though.
The only way to benefit from targets, is to do the specific tasks listed to accomplish each. Think of it as the shortest trajectory from where you stand now … to where you hope to land by the end of the day … or week. Successful entrepreneurs tend to target personal well being ... into all the work items, though. How so?
On an especially busy week, I tend to target in a golf round or two, and that fun and exercise adds just the extra jolt of serotonin needed to crack the list with vigor. What target could ratchet up the bottom line and add wings for a bullseye where you work today?
