Because fear plagues us daily through perceived lack of security … Bruce Schneier, author and world leader on computer security ... argues we often stop thinking sensibly about real security … or about how to create genuine safety. Does your business operate on fear?
Brain specialists tell us that lasting success thrives more on what elevates us ... than what scares us. How so? ![]()
Driven by fear …
1. We fail to take risks for progress and tend to follow steps toward false security. It’s much the same as
2. We make poor decisions … based more on over-charged emotions than on rational wisdom.
3. We waste resources trying to avert short term fear factors … and then tend to miss making investments with longer term dividends in mind.
4. We emphasize pseudo protections and neglect people, so we end up with a lack up human support ... when we need it most. Look at US fear driven policies ... and see our mounting lack of global support, for instance.
5. We’re blind to opportunities … instinctively hidden from view when fear fuels our mental chemicals ... to either fight against or flee from perceived dangers.
What would elevate your work ... if you removed significant fear factors ... that lock you into a sense of false securities?

Good Morning, Ellen!
I love it when I finish writing a post and then read something somewhere else that perfectly describes a dimension of the topic that I couldn't put into words!!!
This is exactly how people that aren't in the right job act and feel - making their situations spiral negatively out of control!
