I’ve been reading that to launch any franchise is a great idea but my question is … Can you franchise the human brain? I’d like to franchise MITA’s International Brain Based Business with a progressive research university – and I’ve been learning more about how it works. Have you considered franchising what you do best?
I’ve been reading franchise blogs in order to learn a few rope tricks from the top franchise industries out there. Here are 15 winners at the top.
1) Supercuts![]()
2) Great Clips
3) Fantastic Sams
4) The Maids Home Services
5) Hollywood Tans
6) Merry Maids
7) Sport Clips
8 ) Molly Maid
9) Dry Cleaning Station
10) 1-800-Dry-Clean
11) Planet Beach
12) Valpak
13) Dryclean USA
14) Instant Imprints
15) Desert Sun
Hmmmm ... the entire list lets you tan artificially ... while your clothes dryclean ... and maids houseclean. Not exactly what I had in mind ... but there may be lessons to learn from the stars nonetheless.
The first questions to starting any franchise operation seem to be ….
1. How much capital does it take to open and operate a new franchise?
2. How can I recruit the best leaders?
3. Are there seminars on franchising in my area?
4. What will best fuel and grow this franchise?
5. How will we organize the research and development department of the franchise?
6. How will we ensure the franchise is respected by those who buy into it?
My key question though, must be addressed before I jump into the process. Could a person franchise the human brain successfully? What would you say?

I can see why you made the top 50 list, nice post!
