3 Brain Questions for Business Advantage

When business needs a boost ... it's worth a pause to question....

If you think in new and different ways …

1. Could you alter the future for business where we work? Brain research suggests that when people focus their thoughts on improved targets … they are far more likely to act on improved steps and thereby attain these targets.

2. Could you improve… even when work and others let you down? Research and observation show how those who practice doing the extraordinary are less likely to fall under pressures at work against them. Check out today’s video and story of an Iranian-American scholar who shifted her brain into improvement gears during 105 days locked up in Iran’s notorious Evin prison.

3.  Could you relieve stress that leaves most people anxious and frustrated? People who live in stress, do so when there is loss of control accompanied by anxiety for the future. Fears often trigger stress for people who focus more on past mistakes than on future opportunities ... where infinite potential becomes more a state of mind. Suggest just one doable solution to one problem you face, for instance,  and you literally rewire parts of your brain for the next winning solution.

Interestingly, the reason rejuvenated thought tends to also mean an improved future, is simpler than you might think. Dr. Amit Goswami, wrote in the book Evolve Your Brain “the brain does not know the difference between what it is thinking and what it experiences. Check out studies on brain plasticity and see how thought and experiences can reshape the brain for far more successful results than most realize.

What would it take for people to think differently where you work? Do you?
