Already I’ve begun reading about terrific leaders’ names at Dio’s site … and I look forward to getting to know their ideas also.
As invited, I’ll tell you a bit about what blogging does in my world – which will likely differ from yours – and hopefully add an innovative insight or two to Dio’s fine mix.
My reasons for blogging are quite simple, as listed over at Dio’s site. Blog topics come in surprising ways ... such as podcast invitations from Anna Farmery on understanding the brain and motivation … and in the privilege of being interviewed by Wayne Turmel, as well requests from places like Capital Magazine editors or the interview lined up today at the request of Self Magazine who’ll publish my two-bits on the brain in their August edition of Self.
Sometimes, though, ideas just pop into my head when I walk, golf or collaborate on an international project like the one Robyn and I leave for Ireland soon again to complete. Ideas roll across my head like tickertape – the challenge is to organize my busy day in a way that leaves room for a blog.
I told folks how Know More Media takes good care of my blog template and they are fabulous to work for. I trust the brains at KMM and so I find myself trusting the way they build my template and promote my blog. That said, I am more of an idea person than a sales talent – and yet both are needed to make a blog fly. People I know have been extremely generous in ways that promoted my blog in spite of me!
Blogging matters to me for several reasons I listed at Quasi Fictional.
