An interesting Yahoo News report today on Matthew Dowd, an ex-bush strategist and good friend, spoke of his regrets to break from the Bush camp. ![]()
In lamenting Bush’s failed policies Dowd said of the president:
“I really like him, which is why I'm so disappointed in things," Dowd said.
He added this serious observation of the president, "I think he's become more, in my view, secluded and bubbled in."
Do you know leaders who could be described as bubbled in?
Interestingly, this isolated state may start with people who single-handedly holds onto what they sense to be the only right way, but eventually seclusion and a my-way-only approach will actually rewire the human brain for Hebbian problems.
Would you agree to the seriousness of this "bubbled in" problem to individual and collective intelligence?
