Liz Strauss … host for the big blog conference SOBCon coming to
Simply put, I'm asked to complete the following… so here goes my 2-bits in blue below … ![]()
1. One thing about SOBCon that intrigues me . . . is the chance to learn from different kinds of thinkers. Emphasis here is on diversity that teaches us its best.
2. They better have plenty of opportunities for meaningful interaction facilitated by great leaders at SOBCon because talking and lectures work against bloggers’ brains.
3. The one thing I would have to bring to SOBCon would be a genuine appreciation for the creative brainpower alive and strong in Liz, Terry and this team! I’d likely also bring a few cool brain facts to stir up blogging intelligence for fun. I also ask two-footed questions to all the smart people I could find there.
4. The perfect location for SOBCon 08 would be on a Golf Course, where people can exercise, golf or walk … as a way to engage multiple intelligences together in cool new ways.
5. One reason to go to SOBCon is the most prolific and talented bloggers will be there and new networks will form with mutual benefits….
6. At Live Open Mic Night at SOBCon, it would be fun if talents we have yet to hear from would appear and surprise participants with new discoveries about blogging and bloggers who make a difference.
7. What I wish I knew about SOBCon is how can bloggers help one another to improve the communication tone of a nation from war that consumes us - to wonder and mental possibilities that unify nations.
Unfortunately, Robyn and I are off this week to lead a big MITA conference on the brain in
Yikes - hope we survive it all!
The schedule was just too thick to bust it in order to meet you all this time! We’ll hit a straight ball and throw our best hopes your way though!!! BrainBasedBusiness hopes to get in on the next round - and wishes this first kickoff well. Happy blogging all!
Time to tag people far smarter than me to add their wisdom to my 2-bits in blue here – so check out conference wisdom from … Robyn, Easton, Helen, Mike, and Jim. Can’t wait to see what you’ll add!
By the way, if I missed you – do jump in and add your name too – because the best ideas too often remain hidden or missed when we look for real intelligence. What do you think?

Hi Ellen,
What fun your post is. I wish you a wonderful time on your trip. Safe home to us. :)
