Apparently the climate is balmy, and the planet may well be able to support water and life.
The planet appears to be orbiting a star called Gliese, and in a letter to the editor at the Journal Astronomy and Astrophysics, researcher Stephen Udry of the Geneva Observatory in
"This one is the first one that is at the same time probably rocky, with water, and in a zone close to the star where the water could exist in liquid form."
