Spot anybody needing change where you work?
Interestingly, whenever we share programs for tone tips at work, or other smart skills that improve a workplace, inevitably leaders finger others at work who need to change. Yikes!
Does that happen where you work? Do you fall into the trap of trying to change another person where you work? ![]()
Effective change tends to start within each of us, and alternatively, lasting change with the brain in mind, rarely comes through pointing out others’ weaknesses. Why so?
For starters, the human brain works against you and prevents positive results – whenever you leap in to advise fellow workers. It’s that simple.
Good news is that there are brain based strategies and smart skills that can launch renewal in most workplaces, and that can start the process today.
Dealing with an old sock who sticks with old, or people who tend to resist change?
Why not ask a two footed question…such as ” What innovative project can you and I do together that would improve results in the area of …?
The question itself tends to jumpstart people’s brains because you bring them into a more collaborative solution-building process.
This joint approach to lasting solutions rings with the message … I HOPE YOU DANCE, and shows others that you’re willing to dance a new step or two also. Sure beats the funeral dirge … I hope you change, which leaves more problems than answers in its wake.
What do you think?

I think this is very insightful..probably because i AGREE with it!!! When I realized that nearly everything that someone at the company did wrong was on account of ME, it really changed my complete perspective on things. Most of the layoffs that happen, obviously, are not due to that person's performance but is due to Da Boss.
