
A million dollar gift to the
Did you ever wonder what your organization would do with a million dollar gift? I have.
Some organizations are fortunate enough to receive a person's
generous support, through a million dollar gift. In fact it happens all the time!
Do you think they’ve planned in advance to use it well to benefit the work and to honor their benefactor?
I’ve been wondering lately how the
1. We’d certify more leaders to carry out the MITA Brain Based programs internationally for leaders and college level learners. There’d be a retreat center booked where leaders who show acumen in brain based tactics would develop these further with a plan to facilitate other leaders.
2. We’d print new MITA materials and revise my published books - as a way to inspire and motivate those who already use MITA brain based tactics – to use and share even more of these in ways that benefit business – with the brain in mind.
3. Technical leaders would be added to help us create current videos and podcast updates to show the exciting results MITA is bringing in several countries at the moment.
4. Licensure and Franchise programs would be established as a way to continue the MITA work with an even wider base – beyond what we’ve established. People want more and the most common feedback we get at brain based conferences is … “Want more time and materials on this exciting topic…”.
5. A marketing and a conference planner would be recruited so that the current Brain Based leaders could concentrate on overeeing new programs and on increasing materials’ production of the MITA method strategies for business and learning leaders.
Just the thought of a gift that would add these high performance arms reminds me how exciting it is to translate the best of brain research into creating the best leadership practices. In fact, the reflection also reminds me how lucky I am to do this work – even now – and without a donor’s gift!
