
While only eight intelligences have been identified for certain in Howard Gardner’s multiple intelligence list, there could be more, and likely are.

1. Psychological tests – In other words it can be measured.
2. Existent prodigies - Mozart composed music at age 4, for instance.
3. Brain function – There must be a specific location
4. Developmental history – You’ll see stages of growth
5. Evolutionary history – Development occurs over time
6. Symbol system – Such as recognized symbols in music or math.

I hope school curriculum will encourage children to discover and excel in one of the multiple intelligence.
My sister was very poor in academics. I found out later that her intelligence is in Arts. She had high marks when she studied interior decorating. She is confused with the alphabets. If early in life her intelligence is appreciated maybe she will gain more self confidence and did some work of arts.
