How has communicating in the virtual workplace changed your business? Did you know that the human brain today wires and operates far differently because of the virtual workplace impact? Is this a good thing, as you see it?
Have technologies where you work, offered a wider range of communication techniques, or has communication occurred in less effective ways lately? ![]()
Do you communicate more in face to face conversations these days ... or less ... because of virtual exchanges? And what about messages sent to a multitude of others in the same email? Have these worked well?
Are we making optimal use of virtual communications and have we adapted well to the many new and different communication techniques? Are we using the asynchronous setting that technologies make possible in ways that improve communication? Or have we allowed the virtual workplace to . distort our conversations?
.
Because online prevents immediate feedback, I’ll have to wait patiently to hear what you think.

How could I not leave a comment!
I think we are in a stage of exploration, with all the widgets, technology and networking sites appearing there is a tendency in the short term to become virtually focused. However, nothing beats face to face...look at all the pod camps and conferences to do with social media for instance - why are they popular because despite the love of technology people want a human connection. The virtual word is a fantastic tool, one that can aid global communication - I love it. But it is a means to an end not an end in itself. Love your blog by the way!
