While we were traveling for a month in Europe and the US ... with MITA Brain Based Business work ... Robyn McMaster challenged me to list 5 reasons I blog.
At the same time I looked forward to reaching inside for a blog with a bit more meat than “cause I just do…” I also grew too busy to gather a few meaningful words into a post ... until today.
Traveling is wonderful and I grow weekly from the amazing leaders we meet and work with, yet home allows for time to think and write. That brings me to ….![]()
Reason 1 – Home is a place where my words can travel from the comfort of my office to some of the best parts of the mind and the world.
Reason 2 – Writing allows me to learn from the masters - and to reach for words that otherwise pop into air like bingo balls fly into glass domes and then settle into patterns that either win or lose.
Reason 3 – Blogging brings daily currency to the brain based research that fosters high-performance outcomes at work. For years I watched research die to people because jargon from the best studies left readers dry. I enjoy the challenge of converting great research into discussions and applications that benefit readers.
Reason 4 – An amazing community of people who blog on interesting topics and who have cool stories to tell is now a valued community I look forward to daily. Where else can you exchange ideas and hear what works well from people you look up to out there?
Reason 5 – When I blog I learn because I read other blogs and you folks out there teach and inspire me daily! That reminds me to ask all fellow bloggers out there to jump in and tell us five reasons you like to blog. We’re all ears!
