If you’ve planned a successful upshot for your talents today ... be prepared to get brainy results. Why so?
Whenever we reboot the brain for a precise target we get brainier results much like the study cited in Success Magazine, where researchers asked Yale’s class of 1953 a number of questions that related to specific targets. ![]()
Experts discovered only 3 per cent of the Yale class listed their targets, with a clear plan to achieve them. Interestingly, 13% per cent claimed they had targets but failed to write these down. And 84% held no specific targets they could list or identify. Can you guess the results? You might be surprised at what the brain can do with clear results stated ahead.
Twenty years later, in 1973, researchers revisited this Yale class, and found stunning differences between those who listed targets and those who failed to follow clear results. The 13% who claimed they had targets but failed to write these - earned twice as much as the 84% with no targets at. Even more amazing, the 3% with written targets earned on average, ten times as much as the other 97 percent of these graduates - combined!
Targets are central to MITA’s brain based smart skills and for good reason. When targets show the results you expect, your brain begins to bust more mental barriers that hold back disorganized people …. and begins to hit higher targets that successful people reach.
People who succeed set results and act … waiting is a trap for the sluggish mind. There are always reasons to wait and there are always people who excuse lack of results on those reasons. The opposite is also true … results you set ahead … will be in direct proportion to quality targets you reach. Furthermore, the brain works joyfully and peacefully, knowing that your efforts will inevitably bring the rewards you deserve. What targets do you have listed for today? For this week?
