Over at the blog What Would Dad Say… GL wrote tongue in cheek … Procrastinators Unite…Rally Up Tomorrow, Next Week, Whenever
According to GL…”Nothing can get you behind more than putting off those things you know need to be done now.” ![]()
Who among us can’t remember his examples in our own lives … “Procrastination is like sitting in a class all day, pretending to listen, even lazily refusing to take notes in the hopes that you will ‘get it’ by osmosis.”
And GL said is best … “It never worked for me, either.”
The post reminded me of struggles I see in people who build a habit from letting things slide and I was wondering what you thought of these reasons …
1. Overwhelmed and unsure where to begin to move one step forward at a time - it could be a prefrontal cortex thing
2. Bored so that you cannot see any connections between what is required and where you are heading in life
3. Discouraged because previous attempts to transfer skills have not seemed to help you move forward
Do any of these reasons make sense to you and what makes you fall behind at work…? You'd also enjoy Mike Sansone's How APE Defreats Procrastination over at ConverStations.

Procrastinating was a huge problem I used to be dealt with. I could never get over. Then one day I realized I wouldnt get anywhere in life by doing nothing.
Thanks,
Matt
