
I was intrigued by fellow writer … Michelle Dunn’s most popular excuse used by debtors is "I never got the invoice!" Last week I got the bill from a collection agency for supposed AOL services, that were supposedly not paid. Yikes! ![]()
If they were trying the panic button at a brain based business they pushed it, when I first opened the “urgent” notice. I tried to call the number listed for NCO Financial Systems and of course it did not work. This outfit, it turns out, is a huge scam and are getting the $95.60 for many of us according to hundreds of complaints I found on the web. My brain is back to calm....
Is this more about a business world that lost its way. Michelle said…”Now try to forget that they came into your store and picked up their product or had their service done, and try to forget that they had to place the order and receive it, so should know they owe you the money.”
I agree with Michelle…”The most frustrating part of this popular excuse is that it implies that payment would have been made and probably made on time if only the invoice had been received.”
