Out on the golf course yesterday, one guy on our team told himself he was a terrible golfer this season, and every shot that followed proved his point. None of us who knew what that "I can't" voice was doing to his swings, expected much from Mark as he continued to shank balls into trees and swear about his shots. What does your inner voice tell you about your situation?
Most of us are well aware of that consistent "I can't" inner voice between your mind and your actions. Are you aware though … that you can change your brain’s limiting inner messages to look more like highly successful people? New facts about your brain can improve your inner voice and change how you respond to challenges, such as discouragement, stress, failure or frustration.
Here are a few opportunities to increase serotonin, and decrease cortisol for a new adventure. Simply change that little voice inside your head to make room for more success for a new adventure.
1. Step up to a golf ball at the next tee and visualize it flying to the green – your brain will do the rest, as you follow through with your swing.
2. See yourself sharing a fun lunch with a person you respect – and then make plans to invite that person to lunch.
3. Next time you hear yourself saying, “I can’t … simply change it to “I can” and mean it. After a few times hearing it, you’ll recognize that little voice lift itself above its foothold in misconceptions.
It doesn't take gruelling effort to flip the words that lead to failure, into words that grow new dendrite brain cell connectors for success. Change your inner voice and you'll reboot your brain for more intelligent notions of your mental possibilities. That's all your brain usually needs to unleash your real capabilities – just when you need them most. What do you think?

It is amazing how what you expects actually translate into the real thing?!look like the brain has a way of making your expectations come true...both negatives and positives..I got 55% in accounting because I told myself that I didn't like it(although I am good in Math) and got 90% in economics because I thought it was easy and interesting to learn as compared to crunching numbers in accounting.guess what? I have learn now to have postive expectations and almost eliminated negative ones.
