Have you noticed a sharp decline in the intelligence that shows care, integrity, motivation, and value for ourselves and for others ... where you work?
Daniel Goleman … author of Emotional Intelligence and Working with Emotional Intelligence. Emotional intelligence… shows evidence for a serious decline in what I'll call ... and Howard Gardner named ... as intrapersonal intelligence. ![]()
To be intrapersonally intelligent or emotionally intelligent is to …
1. Handle ourselves well… even when the chips are down
2. Show empathy… when co-workers suffer
3. Find motivation to spark new ideas daily at work, regardless of the barriers
4. Show self-awareness with talents you possess and limitations you are working on
5. Model self-confidence … with what you do less well in ways you show confidence for strengths
6. Handle emotions with calm and as a reflective tool to work out conflicts for mutual benefit.
See vibrant intrapersonal or emotional intelligence supported where you work? Or is this intelligence being ignored ... to your firm's detriment?

I think intrapersonal and emotional intelligence are the most important aspects of business today. Thank you for bringing this important subject to light!
