I really liked the ideas over at Liz Straus’site today as a reminder of what we can learn from one another. Like she did today, in having people think about writing from the opposite gender, Liz often draws on interpersonal intelligence in unique ways. Through pulling vibrant roundtables together on-line help, she helps readers to rewire their brains for another way of approaching a thing.
Imagine using Liz’ approach to bring opposite views together where you
work..?
Here are a few tips I’ve learned from bloggers like Liz, who I respect…
1. Post a challenge the firm is facing on an interactive web page and invite ideas. A reward goes to any idea used to solve the problem and add profitability.
2. Offer a solution to a problem that you learned from another person that week and show how it helped you to improve one task at work.
3. Make a proposal for the next staff meeting to start with a 20 minute discussion where everybody adds one insight to solve a problem that limits business in your firm. Then ask for volunteers to head a change roundtable to implement suggestions that work.
Do you agree that people like Liz Strauss use more interpersonal intelligence to draw people together with good results? Could you do the same thing where you work?

Wow! Well, thank you so much, Ellen. What a lovely compliment, especially coming from someone like you who knows her stuff. I's blushing and don't quite know what to say. Thank you.
