Researchers are finding more serious links between body and mind exchanges than was originally thought. These new links they discovered, describe mental problems that can follow from alcohol withdrawal, for instance.
The discoveries are helping medical professionals to better treat
hypoglycemia, and mental confusion that results from strokes that tend to go undetected. Within the integration of traditional fields of science and medicine we missed too many of these combined illnesses that arise from mental and physical disconnections.
One expect in the mental and physical interactions … Dr. Caroline Carney-Doebbeling at the University of Iowa College of Medicine… offers a new awareness for combined illnesses. See her suggestions in Michael Alvear’s article, “It’s All in Your head.”
In a nutshell Dr Carney wrote: "Pain without an identified source is very real. Science just hasn't advanced to the point it can tell us where it's coming from."
Can you see how this work will go a long way for people who show mental problems that cannot be easily treated using traditional methods? What do you think?
