I really enjoyed the book, The Blog Ahead, by Scott Hall for several reasons. This book captures the value of blogs in their emerging interactive best suits, and prepare readers to roll forward. Traditional systems may hang onto lectures, but Scott Hall shows how people everywhere are fast losing their penchant for outmoded delivery systems … or one-way-words that work against a human brain. ![]()
As an expert in online marketing, Hall seems to have caught 5 main keys to the health and survival of communications through blogs, to:
1. Help fast-track leaders reconnect with people for meaningful relationships
2. Usher in the changes that people want, as opposed to those put forward for money alone
3. Adapt with the changing landscapes of our era and to see a meeting of the forces for new opportunities
4. Revolutionize communications so that new voices emerge as the times and circumstances call for their talent
5. Bring together diverse cultures in ways that teach and inspire us from alternative perspectives
I think what I like about this book most is that is really speaks revolutionary ideas to what is not working now, prevents brain dead readers, and speaks of things to come.
