While MITA Brain Based Business does very well – and we are grateful to make a good living, I’ve been concerned that whenever a business community makes money its focus – other parts of the brain’s wealth get lost. By making money a main target have we: ![]()
1. Invited more lawsuits by people who respond more to money than to more humane and mutually beneficial settlements…?
2. Brought on more bankruptcies because people live above their means to keep up with what they see as normal…?
3. Robbed attention for the factors that bring lasting financial stability … such as quality customer service and excellent innovations …?
4. Created competition among people who could collaborate with us to build better communities…?
5. Ostracized people who have less and created a deeper divide among haves and have nots.
Seems to me that the brain longs for far more than making money alone…. It also seems that we make more money in business when we expand our focus…. That wider view permeated the book, The Millionaire Mind… is that people who have done well and have made a difference rarely tend to hold money at the center. Have you?
