What causes people to shift careers … when the position they leave worked well? I was intrigued to read an article posted in The Democrat and Chronicle ... "Former exec takes on 'a sacred trust'" .... The article reported new career decisions of Enrique
Enrique’s held executive posts at Kodak and Xerox … has traveled extensively … and has brought brain based solutions to complex business problems. So when I heard about this new career and life shift, from corporate leader … to Senior Vice President of Community Impact for Rochester’s United Way … I was elated. In his role to identify needs … and steering funds to benefit people … I see Enrique’s genius for putting people above politics!
In Enrique’s words … “Holding agencies accountable for the community’s money is, to me, a sacred trust…” describes Enrique’s wonderful talent …. These words also illumine why this new leadership role … could help to motivate new growth in the wider
The first two Americans he met … after escaping from his native Cuba… held spirit and passion for the nonprofit mission … and that “somehow seeped into my being … Enrique said. What has led you to your current position … and what could change that …?

Enrique, congratulations, and I wish you great success in the United Way -- your success will then spill over to everyone who has a need.
