4 New Neuron Pathways Toward Motivation that Brings Success

While there is no magic formula for motivating ourselves… those who do so … tend to reap huge rewards…. When Henry David Thoreau said …  "Things do not change, we change… “ he was really referring to the extravagant brainpower within motivation.motivation_research.gif

Not surprisingly … whenever we model a motivated life, others around us tend to change and improve theirs too...

Below are 4 neuron pathways which can reboot your own and others' brains for motivation that leads to growth and that success most people crave...

1. Value your own abilities … but also respect your limitations.    List your abilities on one side of a paper and add any limitations you see on the other side. Dare to think in higher dimensions …  than any  weaknesses you list….  Then sketch out one opportunity to capitalize on today…. Remind yourself on several occasions during the day … to focus on the opportunity rather than focus on your failures.

2.  Try changing your approach to solving a complex problem. If you simply give up on a difficult task … your mind stops seeking succeed. Instead, think about the grand results you hope to achieve. Visualize the end product you expect to attain… and that image in your mind will actually guide you to higher outcomes…. Experts would say you are building new neuron pathways toward your target.

3. Stay committed to projects, even when others lose interest…. You’ve likely noticed that while losers let go … motivation keeps winners in the race!  Some people have a tendency to dart from one unfinished project to the next…look around for a better idea … and let others down in the process…. You can be your own person… and can help others to achieve alongside you … because people give their best when motivated.

4. Refuse to allow setbacks to take you out… Instead … stick to your plans for success…. Rather than feel intimidated when others hit their peaks ahead of you … , instead congratulate others around you and mean it… so that motivation from their example can also be yours. Challenge others to fresh possibilities and find further motivation that can reboot your brain for the success you likely deserve…. What do you think…?
