Whenever I read a blog title … such as … “Are Beautiful people More Intelligent?” as I did today at MIND HACKS … I tend to react. You tend to want all intelligent people to be beautiful … all beautiful people to be smart … and those in between to be both! Guess I’m a bit like Garrison Keilher that way …. Thanks for the interesting post … Tom and Matt! 
They shared posted an interesting article from The Guardian “on the work of two researchers who are investigating the link between beauty and intelligence, and who argue that a genuine link exists.”
Do you think beautiful people are smarter than others?
According to this post … Satoshi Kanazawa and Jody Kovar see beautiful and smart as linked. In their 17-page study … titled, Why Beautiful People Are More Intelligent, they put it this way … "Individuals perceive physically attractive others to be more intelligent than physically unattractive others. While most researchers dismiss this perception as a 'bias' or 'stereotype', we contend that individuals have this perception because beautiful people indeed are more intelligent."

It's especially intriguing that some people simply believe what they believe … in spite of all any research or solid proof to support the contrary. Have you noticed that also? By the way ... how do you decide who's smart and who's not?

I couldn't disagree more with the idea that beautiful people are more intelligent! My first thought was all those hollywood divas who are gorgeous - but don't have it "all together"... I talk to people first before I decide if they're "intelligent" or not ;)
