Actions and Images Fuel the High-Performance Mind

The high-performance mind is fueled by healthy images and upbeat actions. It’s quite spectacular the way this works. Simply do what you enjoy doing most… and images of hope and prosperity tend to follow. Or imagine yourself doing a terrific job … and improved performance will likely follow. Have you ever wondered why you simply cannot get things up and running well on a particular  day?creative brain.jpg

Believe it or not… our mental performance can often improve … simply by using more  bits we know now from research such as how acts and images shape the brain's plascticity…. It’s also true that … in spite of miracle breakthroughs lately …  malfunctioning brains can hide their secrets for well-being … and  refuse to unlock  problems or reveal learning patterns… without professional help.

News on this front is also good. Increasingly improved drugs can stimulate or block synapses which control chemical and electrical activity … among neurons. We know that drugs such as Prozak block depression, for instance. There can be side effects …. Unfortunately, some mind altering drugs …  tend  to alter personality and prevent a person’s ability to think deeply.

Upbeat images and affirmative actions simply shift the mind into higher gear … when they are steered for that purpose. The opposite is true with people who suffer depression.

Did you know for instance…  that depressed people often lack images that secure … comfort … and console people who maintain a healthy mental framework. Negative images and recriminating inner voices plague and disturb their thoughts. Imagine yourself failing at work today. Instead of inner mental responses that soothe and show lessons about recovery, depression shoots darts of fear, so you dread further disasters. And yet, while no cure exists for some forms of depression, hope increases and help moves closer for many who face depression’s deadly aim.  Does this describe anybody you know?
