5 top killers of integrity in today’s workplace – all have to do with reducing the mind to chase fast-food-answers:
1. Smile and greet co-workers on one hand ... and then point out their weaknesses to people in charge on the other….
2. Remove supplies one at a time - enrich your home office for free – you deserve it!![]()
3. Spend time with people who look and act like you ... and ignore those who differ ….
4. Lie because it is company policy ...and you fear for your future if you speak truth….
5. Take time off...relax... and offer excuses of illness that keep you on the payroll….
Jennifer over at Brains on Fire … challenged the blogging community with An Assignment and I fell for it – with a bit of a difference….
On the flipside of this challenge ... is the lived experience of its opposite ... which fogs many of our workplaces. I know we’ll find wit and wisdom about integrity's intrinsic values ... from others at Jennifer’s fine group The Curiosity Team … So I wanted to take a shot at it’s opposite shapes and sizes because these are the forces many face daily. And would you agree... we sometimes we can see a thing even better when we observe its opposite.
Thanks for the fun challenge Jennifer! Now you have me curious …. What does integrity mean to you?
