Have you ever wondered why some people enjoy life to the fullest ... even when they face difficult challenges? They seem to place themselves in the path of good fortune... and now we see that very placement may be shaping their brains to succeed. How so?
At Technology Review … Courtney Humphries described how our brains are shaped by everyday experiences, through observing the brain in
action. Check out how researchers at MIT used two-photon microscopy to visualize chemical activity in brain cells of living animals after the animals spent time in different visual environments.
"This is the first time we can look at the molecular activity inside individual cells in response to a sensory experience," lead researcher Kuan Hong Wang said.
The observation is hoped to be useful to help neurological disease or degeneration, or to test the effects of therapies in treating these conditions.

Imagine the use this research will be to help people rewire their brains for more a more successful day at work. What do you think?
