messages from her phone. How is it possible? In that case… text analyses revealed that the texts had not been written by the victim herself, but that they had been faked.
Linguistic analysis can reveal secrets for criminal investigation, which otherwise are easy to hide.
This six-month study will compare similarities and differences in texting style, between texts sent by individuals and among networks of people who communicate through mobile phone texting.
The study also plans to examine the influence of peer groups, upon writing style and texting language. In other words, the study will observe how one person's style is influenced by texts received from friends or family.
