How Your Brain Holds You Back from a Business Bonanza

John Jantsch asks the Question,  Is It Time to Declare Your Independence, he adds insights to another interesting blog by Pamela Sims, called Escape from Cubicle Nation. Both blogs encourage people who dream about starting their own business to step up to the plate and, "Declare their Independence ."

Check out the video titled … Declare Your Independence… for a new look at more and more people who are leaving their jobs to find job journeys they love!
myths-logo.jpgOwning you own business is freedom they suggest and it makes more sense to do what keeps you passionate. I enjoyed reading these two blogs.

They triggered though several myths about the human brain … and because of these myths their brains actually keep people back  from taking a risk to leave what makes them miserable to gain what propels them toward a life-changing  career dream.

People believe that:

1. they are not smart enough
2. secondary school or college proved they cannot compete at the top
3. if they only worked harder they’d get ahead where they are now
4. others in their family are much smarter than they are
5. they cannot learn and  remember things well enough to develop new skills

6. worry or anxiety will take over if they make a move

How many times have you thought of a new adventure such as starting your own business… only to have that little voice inside your head tell you it is absurd for you?

If you listen closely, you'll recognize that little voice is rooted in some of the above misconceptions.

In a new series called, Brain Based Myths that Stop Business Ownership, I will share new facts about your brain that will improve your inner voice and change how you respond to challenges such as discouragement, stress, failure and frustration that hold you in a job you hate. Try a few of these brain based tactics and you'll likely find yourself taking the plunge into business ownership. Either way, you'll reboot your brain for a life-changing business bonanza.
