Turn on Your Cyberkinetics Chip and Move It

If you wonder where scientific research is leading business practices… check Cyberkinetics chip implants.jpgout   this demonstration video. Cyberkinetics repairs neural damage and is close to an implantable chip that brain injured patients are using to control electronic devices with their minds.

If you read CNN Money you’ll not want to run out and replace your keyboard and mouse just yet. Most electronic work - emails, spreadsheets, and Google searches - will likely soon be performed by mind control according to Senior Editor at Business .0…Chris Taylor.

It really started two years ago when a quadriplegic man started playing video games using his brain as a controller.

Taylor retells Matthew Nagle’s story to show how far researchers have come: “Nagle, a 55-year-old quadriplegic, was hooked up to a computer via an implant smaller than an aspirin that sits on top of his brain and reads electrical patterns. Using that technology, he learned how to move a cursor around a screen, play simple games, control a robotic arm, and even - couch potatoes, prepare to gasp in awe - turn his brain into a TV remote control. All while chatting amiably with the researchers. He even learned how to perform these tasks in less time than the average PC owner spends installing Microsoft (Charts) Windows.”

Where will the Cyberkinetics' chip be in 10 years? Possibilities are endless…. You could be:

1). Beaming data into other minds without a word … simply by thinking it
2). Controlling data to businesses across other countries without travel
3). Manufacturing products without lifting a hand
4). Engage in network enabled telepathy to predict the stocks
5). Tapping into instant knowledge bases that span a universe

Are you ready to insert a chip that reads your brain waves for business growth?
