The opposite of reflection is demand from others to meet your needs for satisfaction and success …. While it's true that others share similar needs ... it's also true that we all share reflection apparatus... a mental tool that creates well-being.
Need to get ahead… ? Sense respect from others at work …? Enjoy personal growth…? Feel you make daily contributions at work…? If so you are likely using the intrapersonal tools in your brain to improve your position…. If not… refuse the temptation to blame your parents… your pets… or your peers….
Instead… why not try few tips to help reflective engines in your brain to create possibilities that increase your chances for more success. In spite of crashing systems around you:
… ASK more questions. Start with the question, How am I smart? Allow curiosity and wonder about its answer to guide your day. Then, help those around you to link great questions to some meaningful topic in their day.
… ENVISION one clear target to shoot for and then fix your gaze on a goal. Take a risk to raise your highest dream up to any rainbow, and watch lights guide you toward fulfillment as night stars guide astronomers’ paths.
… CREATE a few specific expectations for one day, one week and the rest of your life. Expect results that use your unique range of talents and optimize your capabilities. Raise the stakes as you check off expectations.
… EXPECT quality… simply move on and you’ll get ahead! Start wherever you are …. Turn on music you enjoy … and start with success in mind…. Use your multiple intelligences, talents or human gifts for any routine task, and let your strengths guide you to higher goals.
Reflection re-patterns your brain for well being. Before long, you’ll find yourself surviving turf wars, jealousies, and the semantics we’ve come to expect with broken, social systems suffering wear and tear, without many resources left to renew themselves. Reflection is the mental tool that takes you ahead of the competition and at the same time increases your personal well-being. It’s what you were given… when given your brain…. What do you think?

Good information. Are we tired of seeing the person in the miror?
