Today I was interested in a story at Primidi ... about Anna Konda … a robotic fire hose that resembles a snake and thinks like a human.
This robot, developed in Norway, shows its 3 m long and 70 kg weight in a brief video... at a Norwegian site. Even if you don't read the language... you'd still enjoy seeing other images ...or you can get a free Online translation of the text.
Basically… the snake runs on 20 hydraulic motors powered by water pressurized to 100 bars which is a capacity already inside any fire hose.
