In his blog today, Easton Ellsworth, who helps us all out at Know More Media, spoke of keeping goals. Speaking of his determination to nail
another good blog – which ... by the way, he always does... Easton wrote:
“There' s a lot more to blogging well than simply writing and hitting publish. There are people to talk to, facts to check, opinions to flesh out, comments to make, and most of all, a blog to maintain.” Just looking at that reminds me it can be a lot to slap on the end of another busy day. Wow – that all takes time… and effort”
1. Take time to laugh … lots … and that releases healthy enzymes into your brain which adds higher immunity and clearer thinking
2). Rest at least 7 to 8 hours a night … the brain completely rewires itself while you move through cycles of REM sleep to allow that process
3). Enjoy new and old friends … often … and throw out fun questions that give you easier ways to tackle what you have on your plate
4). Practice saying "No"… daily… so that your brain grows dendrite cells to say it easier and mean it more as time goes on.
5).Watch a cat moving through grass with purpose or listen to a crow calling some risky adventure he’s planned... from a tree. In their presence plan bigger questions for your week, month and year with the same assurance nature seems to show us ways to play and plan
When I read your post… and thought of all the brainpower you pass around to so many … I thought of how the brain does far better when we refuel it with abandon and daily… Blogs can wait! Schedules will always be bigger than time or energy to pull ‘em off. Thanks for all you do

Thanks, Ellen! This is great advice not just for bloggers, but also for people in general.
