Benefiting at work from Brain Based Insights

 
There was especially good advice and a reminder at Best Advice I Can Give -- Blogger Edition, Part 6, today from mbhunter at Mighty Bargain Hunter:

"The best advice I can give deals with purchasing habits. For most purchases, especially big ones, it almost always pays nicely to consider buying quality used over buying brand new. The reason given for this advice to buy quality used, made sense…”Consumer items depreciate the fastest right after they're bought new.”  

It's all part of a buyer's logical mathematical intelligence but I’d liked to hear even more about how buyers can  be assured the  purchases they research… are in as good shape as claimed…. What can a person do to ensure a good honest answer?

Today’s Free Money Finance – Grow Your Net Worth blog not only contained great tips, but justified my own purchase of a second hand Toyota . The deal was perfect for me… and I find myself looking for a firm I trust… and then I simply talk to people there until I find a salesperson I sense is honest. I’ve had great fortune as I relied on interpersonal intelligence to land a quality deal. But I am sure there are far more reliable ways to do so than I use… and would love to hear approaches you use to ensure what you see is what you actually bring home…?
