During an especially interesting session I was intrigued at how Heather's creativity connects to her leadership. ![]()
I asked her… When it comes to personal creativity … what question would a 10-year-older-you ask yourself to get more creativity up and rolling for rewards today?
In the process of living and practicing the belief that “I Am My Brother’s Keeper” ... a series of questions which might motivate me to “get more creativity up and rolling today” ... would be:
First... Are there lives which can be enriched by my ideas and involvement?
Second ... What impact would complacency and a lack of involvement have on these lives?
Third... What current challenges will metamorphose into significant and memorable life lessons?
And finally ... I'd ask... What past opportunities will cause regrets down the road?
I like these questions… Heather… how could a person benefit from questions about … say … past opportunities … or regrets?
At any age or point in our lives, quiet reflection on past opportunities we accepted or rejected ... will provide insightful lessons which can act as a powerful motivator for future decisions.
Personal reflection has me to believe that the greatest challenges often bring the greatest rewards – a valuable life lesson which continually motivates me to step outside the box in terms of risk, creativity and seeking positive resolutions solutions to complex issues.
