Blogging is good for books, according to Richard Charkin, and I liked
the reasons he gave. They make sense… when you think of all the free ads that go up daily about good books. I’ve reviewed dozens of books here at Brain Based Business ... . And I'm always looking for new books that link the brain to better business practices ... and some of their authors write in to thank me.
Richard draws our attention to bookbar.com and to Danuta Kean's web site and associated blog ...both of which he recommends and where I've found interesting views on this topic.
In fact I've published several brain based books myself … that have been reviewed on the Internet … and it always brings good discussions and tons of new ideas on interesting topics that I later blog.
While I agree that blogging is good for books ... the people behind books have not always had the motivational vision for collaboration that you see over at Charkin Blog! Having spoken not too long ago to leaders in London and again this summer to leaders in Ireland … I like their global reach that I see in Charkin blog…”The broader the audience the more effective the blog becomes….”
It seems to me that before bloggers and book publishers can come together … though ... I mean really come together as a team … both sides will have to see clearer benefits than either sees now .. .. Could there be a mutual plan just over the horizon for a new kind of collaborative? I think creative guys like Richard Charkin will help to bring that mutuality about.
