I was intrigued By Hyperactive Bob the robot Emeka Okafor wrote 
about today at Smart Mobs. According to Emeka… “Robots begin to take charge, Robotic Nation reports on the arrival of Hyperactive Rob.”
Since the Hyperactive Fast Food Management Robot combines different systems from robotics technology they can better run fast food restaurants, The three areas below are Emeka’s:
- Sensing the environment:
The system uses robotic vision to count the cars in the parking lot, gathers feedback from employees and collects point-of-sale information in real time.
* Artificial Intelligence:
Hyperactive Bob analyzes historical and real-time data to learn about each restaurant individually. Hyperactive Technologies claims that HB is more accurate than most seasoned employees.
* Taking Charge:
Hyperactive Bob uses touch screens to tell employees what to do. Employees are instructed how much of which foods to cook; when the food is ready, they tell HB.
My questions is … what will this do the normal human brains that must rewire daily just to keep up…? What do you think…? Are you ready for more hypomanic workers…?
