At Pink Tentacle  blog site, I read about an interesting new looking glass coming out in Japan … that allows no obstacles to perfect vision…. Apparently…when light passes through material such as glass, “a portion of its energy is lost as it reflects off the material’s surface.”  
Researchers at ’s Institute of Physical and Chemical Research … Riken… came up with a theoretical design for preventing barriers to sight. 

The engineer’s prism design  — metamaterial you see here is made from nano-coils of precious metals such as gold or silver — set in a solid glass-like material. The prism structure is truly transparent … allowing light to pass freely through for a crystal clear vision.

Japan’s invention…and Edo ’s translation reminded me of Dr. Sam Walton’s clarity brought to reflection as a way to help him see clearly…. Sam steps outside of himself as a way to reflect and to see others without pre-conceived bias or assumptions… Do you reflect to see opportunity on the flip side of challenge…?
