Wiring Mentally for Possibilities?

Ever felt that you had a great idea that went nowhere except to make others laugh at what you’d envisioned? When people see problems optimism.jpgonly... they tend to laugh off possibilities…People who see possibilities tend to laugh at life! What do you tend to spot first .... problems or possibilities…?

Would you call yourself an optimist…possibly even a visionary…? Or do you tend to find yourself steeped in problems… much like cynics tell you about problems in their day...

You actually create a cognitive map for one or the other ... problems or possibilities ... by what you do and say daily….

Why not  benefit from hindsight vision.... You’ve spotted ingenuity in successful people who poke holes in problems until possibilities find their way through….Cut one problem off at the pass by throwing a risky solution at it.  Expect results...

Optimism might make you look stupid some of the time…but cynicism holds you back in currents created by skeptics most of the time….  Do you agree?

Luckily vision and optimism can be taught …in ways that move you to possibilities…. In the next few posts we’ll look at how a little everyday ingenuity could begin to work in your favor….

How do you respond when "stuff happens?" Would you make a good character in Scott Adam’s Dilbert cartoon?

Or do you identify more with Martin Luther King’s vision for freedom, when he said: I’ve been to the mountain top and I’ve seen God….there is no turning back….King ended up paying the highest cost for a dream that continues to change and improve freedom's chance for all of us....

Who do you know who rewired their brain for vision…in ways that allow them to take in and share the laughter that comes only to dreamers and doers…? Was it worth it to them? Is it for you...?
