What book would you have chosen as the best book of fiction in the 
last 25 years?
The New York Times did a survey and the results … just in ...might surprise you…. The full list of winners will appear in tomorrow’s paper…. That’s why I was thrilled to hear the top book announced on NPR today … as I was driving to pick up my mail…. Partly it was fun to hear it early… because I couldn’t be happier that Toni Morrison’s book Beloved won… and partly because it was thrilling to blog the good news even before NY Times published it in hard copy.
